Carrot Halwa


Carrot Halawa


Ingredients:-

1)Grated Carrots - 4 Cup
2) Almond(6 Nos.) + Cashew Nuts(6 Nos.) Powder
3) Cardamom Powder - 2 tsp
4) Sugar - 1&1/2 Cup
5)salt - 1/4th tsp
6) Milk - 1/2 Cup
7) Oil - 5 tsp
8) Ghee - 5 tsp

Recipe:-

1) 10 to 11 Carrots, wash it very well
2) Peel all the carrots
3) Grate it 
4) keep Kadai on gas on low flame
Add 5 tsp Oil and 5 tsp Ghee in it



5) after 2 to 3 min add 4 cup grated carrots in kadai


6)keep lid on kadai and steam it for 30 min so that all water will get steam out from carrot, and it will cooked and soften


7) After 30 min , add Almond + cashew nut powder, 1/4th tsp salt


8) add cardamom powder


9) add sugar 1 and 1/2 Cup


10) add 1/2 cup milk


11) stir it very well and keep lid on it for 15 min, so that sugar will melt and milk will going to evaporate


12) after 15 min check the halwa by removing lid , stir it, if still their is moisture in it, then keep lid and wait for 5 to 6 min more or according to your time
